About This Spot

Stepping into Mtskheta Restaurant feels like entering a warm corner of Georgia tucked into the heart of Brooklyn. There’s a gentle hum of conversation that balances the intimate, cozy space with the welcoming bustle of genuine hospitality. The pace here encourages you to settle in, unwind, and savor the moment—the atmosphere comfortable enough for a casual evening out, yet holding the quiet charm of a well-loved neighborhood spot.

The experience at Mtskheta is as much about connection as it is about the food. Plates arrive rich with layers of tradition and subtle complexities, inviting guests to explore beyond the familiar. The flavors speak of family tables and slow Sundays, with dishes that are comforting yet distinctly vibrant, often highlighted by generous use of walnuts, fresh herbs, and spices that linger on the palate. Whether it’s a shared basket of warm cheese-filled breads or a hearty, slow-cooked stew, each bite tells a story of home kitchens far away.

While the dining experience is unhurried, there’s a respectful attentiveness from the staff that quietly enhances the evening, adding just the right note of personal care without overwhelming the rhythm of the meal. This attentive service helps Mtskheta stand out as a rare find—where you feel both a guest and part of something familiar, even on your first visit.

For those drawn to heartfelt atmospheres paired with culinary discovery, this Brooklyn gem offers a thoughtful step into Georgian culture through its recipes and rhythms. Conversations flow easily here, sometimes sparked by the robust aromas of garlic chicken or the sweet finish of a layered Napoleon cake. It’s a place where lingering over food and stories feels not only natural but necessary.

This Georgian restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is unbelievably rich with authentic flavors. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly elevated the entire experience. The vibes are pure Georgia, warm and soulful. Reservations are a must, because once you try it, you'll understand why it stays packed. A must-visit.

Had to wait for food over an hour and a half, but everything was delicious. The Napoleon cake is the best onein Brooklyn.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was truly outstanding! It’s very rare to see such high-quality service in Georgian restaurants in America, but this place honestly surprised me. Super And the portions were so big — I genuinely didn’t expect it I will definitely be visiting often!

Incredible food and great service as always. Our third visit within the month and can say that this is one of the most delicious restaurants in all of Brooklyn! The quality, flavor, and true authenticity of the food is unbeatable. Our server Sandro was excellent, very attentive and highly professional as well! We will definitely be back soon!!

A very cozy and atmospheric place, the food is incredibly delicious, and a special thanks to the waiter Levan, who provided comfort and professional service throughout the evening. This will now be our favorite place

Amazing food here. Service was great as well. I love that it's low key.

We ordered the walnut salad, kharcho, dumplings, walnut eggplant, and fried chicken in garlic sauce. The food was pretty good over all except for the fried chicken in garlic sauce - it was just a tad too salty for our taste. The service was excellent. We were given excellent instructions on how to eat the dumplings because this cuisine isn't what my group was used to. When we ordered the dumplings it comes in 6 and we asked the server if we can get 3 regular and 3 fried and they accommodated. The service was very professional and friendly. Overall the food was good, the service was excellent and the place was clean and still playing Christmas music which isn't a negative in my book
